A walk that allows everyone to enjoy the scenery of Belle-Isle, its dikes and farmland, as well as the local wildlife that will delight birdwatching enthusiasts.

In the heart of Blomidon Provincial Park, several interconnected trails offer breathtaking scenery. At the top of these red cliffs, five trails winding through a forest of large hardwoods will lead you to viewpoints overlooking the Minas Basin. Check the tide times so you don't get stranded.

This trail offers a look at how the Acadians adapted to the local geography as you explore a ravine at the foot of South Mountain. It was at the top of this mountain that some Acadians hid during the Deportation. Stop after the bridge to imagine the Acadian tide-powered mill.

Take in the scenery of Grand-Pré, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk from the lookout point to the Deportation Cross, passing through the National Historic Site. Step back in time as you traverse these lands, which would likely still be underwater today if not for the ingenuity of the early Acadians.
